Plays Introduce
On the 165th anniversary of the birth of Russian literary giant Anton Chekhov, the Moscow Art Theatre, the art palace that Beijing People's Art Theatre once admired and the cradle of Russia's Stanislavski performance system, embarked on a tour of China for the first time with Chekhov's classic work "Seagull". From August 8th to 24th, 2025, the play was performed at Poly Theatre in Beijing, Shanghai, and Xiamen, and has successfully completed its first Chinese tour.
