Plushenko’s Fantasy on Ice Aug 2023 Asia Premiere in Beijing
Renowned figure skating champion Evgeni Plushenko headlined the dazzling Asia debut of Fantasy on Ice at Beijing’s National Indoor Stadium. Joining him were figure skating prodigies Alexandra “Sasha” Trusova and Sofia Muravieva, alongside the Angels of Plushenko, Crystal Ice Junior skating team, and a troupe of ballet dancers. This captivating production featured ice adaptations of classics like Swan Lake and The Nutcracker, enthralling tens of thousands of spectators. Beyond its star-studded lineup, the show pushed creative boundaries with its 270-degree immersive stage design, incorporating multimedia projections, 3D animation, and an expansive 432-square-meter display, complemented by 150 custom props and costumes that brought the ice to life.
