Watershed takes pride in its deep collaborations with some of the world’s most prestigious museums and art institutions, including the Hermitage Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, and the Pushkin Museum. By curating major exhibitions of their finest collections in China, we offer audiences a unique chance to experience artistic masterpieces that span centuries, celebrating the essence of human creativity and cultural heritage.


Recent Projects
July 22, 2024, the State Hermitage Museum in Russia signed a cooperation agreement with Beijing Watershed Technology Co., Ltd.
The agreement was jointly signed by Mikhail Piotrovsky, Director of the Hermitage Museum, and Mr. Wang Ke, CEO of Beijing Watershed Technology Co., Ltd.
According to the agreement, the new partners will work with the China National Center for Cultural Exchange to assist the Hermitage Museum in establishing partnerships with major museums in China. Planned collaborations include exhibition projects, academic seminars, and educational programs.
In the future, visitors to the Hermitage Museum will have the opportunity to appreciate artifacts from Chinese archaeological excavations, classical and modern Chinese paintings, as well as treasures of Chinese court art. The Hermitage Museum has also expressed its willingness to consider participating in exhibition projects at museums in Beijing and Shanghai.


The State Tretyakov Gallery "The Soul of Russia"Exhibition Sep 2024 Beijing Capital Museum
This special exhibition, curated by Watershed in collaboration with the State Tretyakov Gallery, presents 56 exceptional works spanning 500 years of Russian art. The collection, featuring pieces like Osif Braz's Portrait of Chekhov, Isaak Brodsky's Portrait of Gorky, and Fyodor Alekseyev's Red Square, illustrates the diverse styles, themes, and historical depth of Russian painting.
The exhibition explores "Russian Art" and "Russia in Art," inviting viewers to engage with the emotions, perspectives, and historical contexts captured by Russian artists. This cross-cultural experience offered Chinese audiences a fresh lens on Russia's artistic legacy.
